Israel Issues Warning to Tehran Before Strikes on Military Infrastructure
In a post on the social media platform X, army spokesman Avichay Adraee shared “urgent alerts” advising residents to evacuate. Specific warnings were directed at those living in the Lia Industrial Area and certain districts of Tehran, including the Moniriyeh District, instructing them to leave “immediately.”
The alert comes amid intensified regional tensions following the joint US-Israel strikes on Iran that began Feb. 28, which Tehran reports have killed roughly 1,300 people and injured more than 10,000.
In response, Iran has carried out drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military forces.
