Ramps closing at Exit 214 along I-64 west in New Kent County for Gap A segment widening improvements
RICHMOND – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), and its contractor, will implement overnight ramp closures for improvements as part of the I-64 Gap Segment A widening project.
Weather permitting, the schedule will be as follows:
- Aug. 13 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: the ramp from I-64 west to Route 155 (North Courthouse Road) will be closed.
- Aug. 16 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: the ramp from Route 155 to I-64 west will be closed.
Motorists should follow the posted detours:
- Westbound traffic from I-64 to Route 155 should use Exit 211 (Route 106/Emmaus Church Road).
- Northbound traffic from Route 155 to I-64 west should use Route 249 (New Kent Highway) and Emmaus Church Road.
- Southbound traffic from Route 155 should use Route 60 (Pocahontas Trail East) and Emmaus Church Road.
